Map for Missouri House of Representatives
I'm proud to serve my State and constituents in Jefferson City, working to keep this great State growing!
MIKE McGIRL ANNOUNCES
INTENT TO FILE
I want to continue to serve as the State Representative for Missouri’s 118th District and I’d like a moment of your time to tell you about myself and what my tenure has done for Missouri.
I am the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, as well as serving on the Financial Institutions Committee. My education and experience as a Certified Public Accountant and small-business owner give me a unique skill set in our legislature to work on the tax and business laws that affect all Missourians.
Throughout my service as State Representative, I have worked to protect and expand the rights of all Missourians and to bring industry and growth to our State by lowering taxes and reducing regulations. As a result of this effort, Missouri farmers will now enjoy the same tax benefits that small business and rental property owners have, because I was able to pass an amendment that ensures our hard-working farm families will save an estimated 85 million dollars per year with this deduction.
August 31st is now known as “Random Act of Kindness” day in Missouri because I brought a bill to the Legislature in honor of a Washington County family’s loss of their loved one, Shayley Akers.
I helped to pass the Second Amendment Preservation Act (SAPA) and HB126 Pro-Life “Missouri Stands for the Unborn Act”, both of which brought new protections to law-abiding gun owners and our most vulnerable, the unborn.
I pledge to continue my fight for all Missourians, to ensure that our rights are protected, our economic growth is expanded, and we keep Missouri at the forefront of progress.
Thank you for your support
in November 2024.
